xmlhttprequest will change the web

justinsomnia.org asks the Lazyweb,

makes me wonder why i haven’t seen any implementation of a blog commenting system that uses xmlhttprequest. i don’t have the time or inkling to work on a project like that, so i’m just putting it out there, a lazy web idea free for the taking.

That said, he blogs infrequently. And needs to do something about comment spam. (But that wasn’t your question.)

cool. it doesn’t seem as seamless as flickr’s caption editing interface, and appeared to require a page reload (http post) to submit the data.

i would have thought requiring javascript to submit the form and send the data would have limited comment spam. guess not.

he uses it all over the place for his comments. he’s been doing it for quite awhile now… all before the gmail/google suggest/google maps craze.
