Why not put a few modules of code in Google (Or name your favorite engine.) that parse the spidered pages and checks them for DTD and CSS validity?

This has occured to me before, but having a search engine for blind people that only includes accessible websites is a nice thought (I may be extending your idea?).
Posted by: Michael Fagan on June 20, 2003 02:19 AMYes, that’s more or less what I am thinking about. But I wouldn’t exclude all the non-accessible, non-compliant sites. I’d just mark them on the results page with a little link saying, “this site doesn’t validate,” or “this site fails Bobby.” I suppose the user of the search engine could set bits to exclude all records that fail from the results but the default would be to include them.
